Fundraising

Organising your own fundraising activity is a great way to get involved and raise funds to help purchase medical equipment for Liverpool Hospital. If you have a fundraising idea for your friends, school, class, workplace, sports or community club, we would love to hear from you.

There are lots of ways that you, your school or local community can fundraise, but don't let us limit your imagination! Some ideas include:

  • Garage sale
  • Sausage sizzle
  • Trivia night
  • Fun run/walk
  • Mufti day
  • Cake stall
  • Raffle
  • Auction
  • Charity ball
  • Golf day
  • Percentage of sale proceeds
  • Vehicle rally
  • Donation box
  • Fete
  • Family fun day

FundraisingBefore you start


To ensure we comply with Charitable Regulations Guidelines, we ask you to complete an authority to fundraise form and send it to us for review and approval. Please post the completed form to the Fundraising & Events Manager, Liverpool Hospital, Locked Bag 7103, Liverpool BC NSW 1871 or email it to maryann.ciccone@sswahs.nsw.gov.au.

Making your donation

You can provide your donation to us in a number of ways:

  • Send a cheque (payable to Liverpool Hospital) to the Fundraising & Events Manager, Liverpool Hospital Locked bag 7103, Liverpool NSW 1871.

  • Direct deposit facilities are available, please contact the Fundraising & Events Manager on 02 8738 8401 for further information.

  • Cash and credit card payments (MasterCard and Visa) can be made at Liverpool Hospital. Please see the cashier located on the ground floor of the Clinical Building.

Tax-deductable receipts


Under Australian taxation law, receipts can only be provided for taxation purposes if someone provides a donation. A donation is defined as a gift given voluntarily that provides no material benefit to the donor. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
